Attention, work in progress!
Yesterday, a group of pupils from the Sint-Godelieve Institute in nearby Kapelle-op-den-Bos visited our company as part of the Vlajo Talent Internship. The teens could already taste the different jobs and tasks found in a company.

What does an accountant do? How to know which orders are in which truck? What are the duties of a receptionist? And who makes sure that the canteen is nickel for each break? If you are fifteen, you hardly know how things really work in a company. Could be better, people at Vlaamse Jonge Ondernemingen vzw - in short VlaJo – thought. This organization’s mission is to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit in education. They developed the Talents Internship format. The idea: to allow fifteen-year-old students to actively participate in a company to discover their strengths and talents.
On Tuesday, May 29, the boys and girls of the Sint-Godelieve Institute of Kapelle-op-den-Bos came to discover how things are done at Van Os-Sonnevelt. They learned how to clean a chair in record time, how to load and unload a truck full of furniture, what to do with delivery slips and how to make an invoice. Even in the office of director Gerard van Os, people were flocking together. The boys and girls could ask all their questions about entrepreneurship and business life.
