Silver for Martine

Saint Glinglin - the seventeenth of the month of August - is not really a day that many people are looking forward to. Except perhaps our front desk employee Martine: every year on this day she can add another year to her list of achievements as an administrative devil-do-all at Van Os-Sonnevelt.

When Martine is at work, one notices it immediately. A telephone call will be answered within half a second, any question via e-mail gets a prompt answer and there is not a single page in our catalogue Martine doesn’t know by heart.

The boundless energy, speed and endurance are qualities Martine shares with the Swedish swimming champion Sarah Sjöström - Olympic gold on the 100 meters butterfly - who was born on the day that Martine started her career at Van Os-Sonnevelt.

To thank her for 25 years of loyal dedication, Martine was honored in the company of her colleagues on Friday 17 August.
