Safety first in 2009
Early January, Van Os-Sonnevelt was granted for the third time in a row the quality label Ways for the Wise (Wijs op Weg), issued by the province of Flemish Brabant and the transport industry association Febetra.
The Ways for the Wise label is granted to companies that develop an active road safety policy for employees who drive company vehicles. Companies that endorse the road safety charter, agree to work towards more safety in the plant and on the road on a permanent basis. Further, the road safety charter invites all professional drivers to observe all rules that may enhance road safety.
The quality label was handed over during a short ceremony in the Province House and remains valid throughout 2009.
