Tiffany in Shanghai
The Tiffany stools by the Belgian designer Patrick Villas are all the rage in Shanghai, where six special editions of the bollard stool can be admired in the Belgian pavilion.
Patrick Villas designed the bollard stool as a tribute to the mooring posts poles that are typical of the quays of seaports. For the World Exhibition in Shanghai, six Antwerp artists were invited to give full rein to their creativity and revamp the bollard stool. Poet Marc Pairon, ceramic artist Piet Stockmans, top designer Nedda, avant-garde artist Hugo Heyrman, architect Christine Conix architect and creator Patrick Villas each gave their version. The result of their creative work is one of the highlights in the Belgian pavilion at the Expo in Shanghai. And in our catalog as well, where Tiffany feature in six lively colors.
