Farewell to Alain

Alain joined the team of Van Os-Sonnevelt in May 2007 in his brisk fifties. With his rich experience as an international truck driver, he quickly found his way to the exhibition and convention centers in Belgium and abroad.

Early in 2010 Alain was first diagnosed with cancer. Despite the heavy treatment and obvious signs of fatigue, he continued to work until mid-March 2010. If there is one thing all employees could learn from their brave colleague, it is this: when things go tough, you just need to push a little harder.

Even during his illness, Alain came regularly to Londerzeel to stay up-to-date with developments. In the beginning still spry and cheerful, but since a few months visibly worried and some resignation in his voice.

In the early morning of Wednesday, September 26, he gently passed away. We offer our deepest sympathy to his wife, children and relatives.
