5 years for Ruud

Ruud started his career in the planning department here on January 3rd 2008 and it was a genuine kick-start from the very first moment, as the entire company was gearing up for the Brussels Motor Show. He had to shift to a higher gear immediately, something he may have in common with F1-racer Michael Schumacher, who has his birthday on the very same day.

No doubt, January 3rd is a memorable day in history: back in 1988, Margaret Thatcher was the longest ruling prime minister on that day. One hundred years before on the same day, the drinking straw was invented . And on January 3rd 1924, Howard Carter discovered the King Tut sarcophagus in the Valley of Kings near Luxor.

As a token of appreciation, Ruud received a ceramic statuette during a staff meeting.
