Steady as you go

As current day traffic creates more and more complex situations and driving circumstances, it requires more and more concentration of truck drivers. In order to balance road safety with the individual capabilities of drivers, Europe tightens the rules and regulations to which the trucks and their drivers are required to comply.

At Van Os-Sonnevelt we have already taken a step ahead of the changes underway. As part of their ongoing training, drivers with a C permit (E) regularly receive courses on various aspects of their craft. This Thursday, May 28, the digital tachograph and driving & resting times were on the program. All participants passed the test with flying colors and can now drive vehicles fitted with digital tachographs.
