Ilse has 20 years of loyal service
On the 9th of February, Ilse Sevenans had 20 years of loyal service with Van Os-Sonnevelt. It was a day she will remember for a long time…
Early in the morning, a caterer ringed at Ilse’s door to prepare her and her family a voluptuous breakfast. Soon afterwards, a taxi stopped to pick her up and drive her to the company, - a route Ilse had taken about 4,800 times in either direction. Her colleagues awaited her with a bouquet and a holiday voucher for a well-being weekend. At noon, Ilse could leave her lunch bag where it was, as she was invited for lunch with the company management.
The day Ilse started working with Van Os-Sonnevelt, the union leader Lech Walesa started negotiations with the Polish government. Since, the regime has disappeared, Poland became a democracy, Walesa Prime Minister and his country joined the European Union. In the same period over a quarter million pieces of furniture went through the hands of Ilse, enough to fill about 800 trailers to the top.
