Careers flying high
Hangars are for parking aircraft, - except when we can put furniture in it to host over 4,000 visitors in all comfort.
On Saturday 19th of March, the fourth edition of the Brussels Job Day took place in an aircraft hangar of Lufthansa Technik at Brussels Cargo Airport. For this one occasion, the planes had to sleep outside while the hall was filling with representatives of some 40 companies, language trainers and consultants and well over 4,000 job seekers from all over the country.
The Brussels Job Days are an initiative of Brussels Metropolitan, with the support of a dozen institutional partners and eight media partners. Companies from the airport area get the opportunity to display and advertise their vacancies and engage in a direct dialogue with job seekers. As a logistical partner, Van Os-Sonnevelt makes sure that these dialogues take place in the most comfortable of circumstances.
