The ox and the turtle
Van Os-Sonnevelt sponsors the biennial contest for amateur arts Red Turtle Art, which will be held for the second time on December 13th.
No, this is not a recently discovered fable by famous Jean de la Fontaine. It is, however, good news for professionals from the building industry with artistic talents. Fisa, organizer of Belgium’s largest building show, announces the second edition of Red Turtle Art. And Van Os-Sonnevelt is main sponsor of the event.
Red Turtle Art is a contest for plastic arts, open to amateur artists who work in the building industry. The first edition of Red Turtle Art in 2005 counted 82 contestants and 150 works of art. For Red Turtle Art 2 expectations are even higher.
The award ceremony takes place on December 13th in the venue Maison du Bois, Avenue des Volontaires in Brussels. More details on the event, rules & regulations of the contest and a gallery with works of art from the first edition are available on the site (in Dutch of French).
